The company’s Partner and President Kam Kaila, and Chief Learning Officer Rita Hayre, have both been included on this prestigious list of female leaders in the IT supply channel, which CRN’s editorial staff selects each year. This is the third year running that Kam Kaila has appeared on this list and was also on the exclusive Power 80 Solution Providers list in 2022. She is delighted to be joined by Rita Hayre as an honoree, which makes 2023 the first year that IT By Design boasts multiple executives on this roster. Kaila is once again also a Power 80 Solution Providers honoree.
The CRN’s Women of the Channel feature spotlights extraordinary female leaders from the solution provider and managed services provider (MSP) communities “whose expertise and vision are leaving a noticeable and commendable mark on the technology industry,” according to a statement by CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company and one of the largest channel news sources. “With this recognition, CRN honors these women for their unwavering dedication and commitment to furthering channel excellence,” the statement continues.

Rita Hayre joined IT By Design in 2020 and was quickly promoted to chief learning officer. She has more than 15 years of experience developing both internal and external educational and change management leadership programs, including at major organizations. She works closely with Kam Kaila on the Build IT program, spearheading the planning, and implementation of ITBD’s emerging and long-term business strategies for education, training, and development, focusing on opportunities and resources for the MSP community. She also leads the company’s channel-based diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
