Rick Chapes has over 20 years of telecommunications experience in working with solution providers direct/indirect channel organizations to educate them on new ways to think about products and services which empower them to deliver outcomes that accelerate revenue.
Rick is currently responsible for managing the AT&T Partner Exchange business segment. In this role Rick oversees a team that is responsible for managing the business relationships with solution providers that operate within the network/IT services, technology infrastructure, mobility and cloud communications industry segments. Rick’s team specializes in developing fiber, mobility security and IoT connectivity solutions for companies that integrate transformational communications technologies into their channel ecosystems.
The team’s highest priority is to give solution providers a competitive advantage in the market by continuing to deliver innovative solutions and facilitating digital transformation. They are committed to helping solution providers simplify their business and select the right foundation that ensures success in the market!
In his 23 years of experience with AT&T Rick has held several senior leadership roles in finance, international business development, corporate development and Wholesale sales.
Rick’s extensive background in managing the operations of multi-disciplinary business environments within large corporate and start-up organizations and his experience working with venture funding organizations have enabled him to successfully develop and grow start-up businesses into multimillion dollar organizations.
Rick has served as an advisor to the board and on the board of directors of numerous not for profit organizations and technology companies within the United States.
Rick is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia and has an MBA from Emory University.
