As MSPs integrate AI into service delivery, whether through AI-assisted troubleshooting, automated remediation, or recommending AI tools to clients, the contractual frameworks most of them are using were written for a different era. When an AI-assisted action causes a client data issue, a missed alert leads to a breach, or a vendor’s AI tool behaves unexpectedly, the question of who is liable is increasingly unclear.
