Jersey City, NJ, May 4, 2026 — IT By Design (ITBD), built for MSPs, proudly announced today that CRN(r), a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized Kam Kaila, Co-Founder and President, as one of the 2026 Women of the Channel Power 100. This prestigious honor highlights an elite subset of influential leaders chosen from the CRN(r) 2026 Women of the Channel list.
This annual CRN list celebrates women from vendors, distributors, solution providers and other channel-focused organizations who make a positive difference in the IT ecosystem. The CRN 2026 Women of the Channel honorees are innovative and strategic leaders committed to supporting the success of their partners and customers.
From within this impressive group, the annual Power 100 recognizes some of the most influential women leaders from technology vendors and distributors who consistently contribute their advocacy and expertise to advancing the channel.
The women on the Power 100 are an inspiration to industry peers and show deep dedication to improving outcomes and opportunities for their own organizations and their partners in the channel ecosystem.
As Co-Founder and President of IT By Design (ITBD), Kam Kaila has spent two decades building one of the channel’s most recognized talent and operations companies, now spanning three countries and more than 1,000 team members. She leads day-to-day operations across the US, India, and the Philippines, with a focus on the intersection of people, culture, and business growth that has defined ITBD’s trajectory from the start.
Kam is the driving force behind Build IT LIVE, ITBD’s flagship leadership conference, now in its sixth consecutive sold-out year. She leads ITBD’s Women in Business initiative, creating real pathways for women in the channel. She also writes the weekly newsletter Candid Kam, offering unfiltered perspective on leadership, culture, and building something that lasts. A Channel Futures Influencer of the Year and returning CRN Power honoree, Kam holds a master’s degree from Rutgers University and NJIT, has taught at both institutions, and is a mother of three — which she counts as her most important leadership training.
“It’s a privilege to celebrate the remarkable achievements of these women who are driving meaningful change across the IT channel,” said Jennifer Follett, VP of U.S. Content and Executive Editor, CRN at The Channel Company. “Each honoree has demonstrated exceptional leadership and a commitment to bold, innovative strategies that fuel transformation, growth, and success for their organizations and the broader channel. We’re proud to recognize their impact and look forward to seeing how they continue to shape the future of our industry.”
The 2026 Women of the Channel will be featured online beginning May 4 at crn.com/wotc.
