This CRN list spotlights vendor, distributor, and solution provider executives helping to create greater equity across the IT channel.
Each of these honorees is dedicated to fostering equity and inclusion within their organizations, the IT channel, and the entire industry. With this list, CRN highlights the importance of championing and building diversity and belonging in the channel ecosystem.
As Co-Founder and President of IT By Design, Kam Kaila has spent two decades building one of the channel’s most recognized talent and operations engine, now spanning three countries and more than 1,000 team members. She leads day-to-day operations across the US, India, and the Philippines, bringing the same focus on people, culture, leadership, and business outcomes that has defined ITBD from the start.
Kam’s commitment to equity in the channel goes beyond policy. She created ITBD’s Women in Business initiative, which builds real pathways for women in the MSP industry. She hosts the weekly newsletter Candid Kam, where she writes honestly about leadership, culture, and what it takes to build something that lasts. She also leads Build IT LIVE, ITBD’s flagship leadership conference, now in its sixth consecutive sold-out year. A Channel Futures Influencer of the Year and returning CRN honoree, Kam holds a master’s degree from Rutgers University and NJIT and has taught at both institutions.
